BEHIND THE BOOK WITH KRISTIN

What can I say about this crazy, surprising novella, except that I had to write it. I woke up one morning with this killer idea that I knew could never sustain an entire novel. I wondered and worried about it, trying to figure out how to proceed—I even contemplated writing a screenplay (which I have no idea how to do)—until the holiday angle fell into place and I knew how to make the idea work. I won’t give away any spoilers, except to say that nothing in this novella is what it seems, and that’s what I like most about it.
