BEHIND THE BOOK WITH KRISTIN

Okay, I’ll fess up. Of my own work, I have three favorite novels. They are, in no particular order, On Mystic Lake, Magic Hour, and Firefly Lane. I don’t mean to suggest that these books are somehow worthier than the others, or even that they work better or are written better. Certainly my readers don’t necessarily agree with my assessment. All I can say is that I like these the best. Perhaps because of the special characters (Alice in Magic Hour is probably my all time favorite creation), or the settings (each of these novels is set in a place I’ve lived), or maybe because these novels mostly closely achieved my original vision.
