It’s that time of year again, when in between the shopping and decorating, we pause to remember what it all means. We think about the people who enrich our lives. And I definitely include my readers in this. Thanks to all of you who have helped make 2009 such a memorable year for me. I can’t begin to express how much I have appreciated all of your letters, blog comments, and emails. Your support and enthusiasm for Firefly Lane was really remarkable.

Thanks also to all of you who have written in to ask about True Colors in paperback. I know that many of your book clubs have been waiting patiently for the book to be available in trade paperback, and it’s finally almost here. January 5th is the day, so mark it on your calendars. It’s a book that is sure to inspire a lively conversation about sisterhood, family, injustice, and small town prejudices.

In February, look for Winter Garden. This novel is quite honestly my favorite novel to date. It’s a big, dramatic, emotional story that will take you on an epic journey into the very heart of what it means to be a mother.
